Reflex silver exterior with black leather interior. 270HP 4.0L W8 cylinder engine, 5-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, 4MOTION all wheel drive. Sold new at Jennings Volkswagen on 08/09/2002. Excellent service history at Jennings VW until the original owner moved to Bellevue, Washington on 03/28/2020, and re-titled and re-registered the vehicle in Washington. (Carfax shows this as the second  owner.)  (On 02/19/2024, a low-speed rear end accident occurred resulting in damage to the rear bumper, tail light, and quarter panel. An insurance claim was filed with the driver of the other vehicle's insurance company. On 02/23/2024, the insurance company sent a request to Department of Licensing to file the vehicle as a total loss due to the cost of repairs exceeding the value of the vehicle. Once the owner realized that they had performed the valuation on his Passat as if it was a 1.8T base model, instead of a W8 4Motion, ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE!  After some re-negotiating with the insurance company, the vehicle was revaluated properly. The request to file a total-loss with the Department of Licensing was redacted. The repairs were performed at a certified collision center, as per Volkswagen specifications. Services performed include; oil and filter change, new engine air and cabin air filters, new front CV axles, new rear brake pads, rotors, and calipers.
